CTMH's Foundational How-To Programs™

For the past year or so, I've been scrapping, almost exclusively, using CTMH's Cherish™ and Imagine™ books. They each have 50 2-page layouts in them. Each layout includes a blueprint of the layout, a sample layout, suggested photo dimensions, and patterns for each sheet of paper used that show how to cut each one. Very easy to use! They have great layouts, and you don't spend tons of time deciding how you want to lay out each page/spread you're working on.

I've taken it a step further. I pick out the layout I'm going to use, then I go through my photos (on my computer) and find pictures that will work with the layout (# of photos, orientation of photos, etc.). Then, I resize using Adobe Photoshop Elements and upload to Costco.com for printing. When I'm ready to scrapbook, I just have to pick out coordinating paper & embellishments. This has really been working for me, and I've been able to get so much done!

Who doesn't love a good catalog?

CTMH's Spring 2009 catalog was released on January 1. For those of you that don't know, CTMH releases a new catalog three times a year (Spring, Summer, & Autumn/Winter). Many items overlap, but there are some seasonal items that are specific to each catalog. With each new catalog, CTMH also releases 5 new scrapbooking collections, along with many new stamp sets and coordinating embellishments. You can purchase any item at any time, until CTMH retires it, whether or not it is in the current catalog. Check out the link on the right to view the new catalog. There are some really awesome products in there! Don't hesitate to e-mail me with any questions or orders.

The Beginning...

Hi, everyone! This is my very first blog post! Yea! My name is Kimber, and I live in Fort Worth, TX. This past week, I signed up to be a consultant with Close to my Heart. This blog will serve as a place to post the artwork that I've created. I am mostly a scrapbooker, but I'm trying to get more into cardmaking. I also enjoy making altered items as gifts for others. Once I get things up and running with my new business, I will definitely be posting information here. I will try to get some of my older artwork posted on here in the next few days. Please check back soon. Thanks for looking!
